MY WEEKLY FITNESS ROUTINE
Since I had a lot of positive responses to my Getting Fit on Just a Few Dollars post, I wanted to share my weekly fitness routine too. I try to do something active EVERY day, therefore I use fitness activities that don’t take hours but are extremely effective! This includes a gym session at home, doing some high energy dance exercises, attending a HIIT class or going to yoga. What I do each week: HIIT (1 time a week) As I have mentioned in a previous blog post , I attend a weekly HIIT class at a local park. HIIT stands for High Intensity Interval Training. It involves short bursts of intense exercise, followed by periods of rest. A great benefit of HIIT is that it has been found to be one of the most efficient ways to burn calories in a short amount of time!
